October is the New June

October has become a very popular month to get married. Last year around this time, we went to the wedding of good friends Katie and Tim (I can't believe they've been married a year already!). This year, we will be spending the next two weekends attending weddings of two more couples that are close friends of mine. Tomorrow, we will witness Joe and Sharon tie the knot. Next week, our very own kat e will be marrying J. The Boy and I are really excited to be at these weddings. We're extremely happy for all three couples. Also, a shout out to Josh and Allison, who will be getting married tomorrow as well.

October is such a good month to get married. The leaves are starting to turn, everything seems to have a golden hue. The heat has passed, but it's not too cold to have an outdoor wedding. It's ideal, really. The Boy and I had considered having an October wedding, too, but the timing of our engagement was a little bit prohibitive. Not only were there too many weddings already slated, but six months just wasn't a realistic timeline to plan a wedding. We did not want to wait a whole other year to get married, so we settled on June. How traditional of us. ;)

So congrats to all of our friends getting married this month. The best of everything to you all!
