A Sociological Experiment

Okay... I'm going to try something on my other blog. I'm going to pimp myself out on as many blog resgistries as I can find and see how much traffic I can drive to the site. I want to see if I can build a community around the site, a-la boybands. The ultimate super-group community.

If I can get a solid amount of traffic to the site, I may expand my test to adding advertisements to the site. Yes, I know. The $2.23 check I receive each quarter will be well worth it. I'm just curious to see how far I can go with a little active promotion.

I have actually gotten a little bit of exposure after being listed as a blog of note. A class at Trinity College has found my blog and have been discussing it as a part of their class. I seem to be doing something right.

What can you do to help? I'm so glad you asked! ;) Spread the word.... link to the culture of communication. I have no pride. I'm a total sellout.

Seriously, though... I'm just curious what, if anything, will come of this endeavor.
