A Rising Star

The Boy and I got some fabulous news about a friend of ours. Dave's tattooist Gumby, who owns Brass City Tattoo may soon be a television star. He’s in negotiations with The Discovery Channel of all places to be on an original reality series about a tattoo shop in Miami.

Now, if you think about it, it makes total sense. Between The Discovery Channel and TLC, they have the motorcycle series like American Chopper and The Biker Build-offs. It makes perfect sense that they would stay in that culture and go with a show about a tattoo shop.

Now Gumby, aka Darren Brass, is an excellent tattoo artist and has done a lot of great work on The Boy. He’s given tattoos to some famous people, the least of all his childhood friends from Hatebreed and 100 Demons. He used to live and work down in the Miami area and is pretty well known for his inking prowess.

We expect the show to be great and are really looking forward to it. Congrats, Gumby. We’ll be watching!!
