Jack Skellington was a SynthPop Star

I made an interesting discovery recently while listening to our new XM radio. Apparently Danny Elfman, who did the score of so many movies that I love, was the front man for the 80s pop sensation Oingo Boingo.

Who the hell knew? Is it wrong that the fact that he was a cheesy 80s pop star makes me respect him more?

Anyways, check him out in his full Oingo Boingo glory:

Yes, that's Danny Elfman in the foreground busting caps

If you listen closely, you can hear the Jack Skellington in his voice. Jack would fit right in with some crazy 80s band. He's insanely skinny, dresses funky, and has a kick-ass voice.
