Snow Day

Finally, we got snow... and lots of it! The Boy was lucky enough to have a snow day on Monday. There are benefits of teaching in a district that is inland and hilly. ;) Not to be outdone, I called a snow day for myself with some comp time I had. We packed up and headed for the Berkshires.

We had a blast riding in the semi-freshies (the snow had been groomed). It was the best conditions we had seen all year. The greatest part of all is that it was virtually empty. Not too many schools had the day off, and most rat racers like me were in the office. It felt good to play hookey! Better still, The Boy and I both love a spontaneous opportunity to spend the day together.
